Colle Ozio Grechetto Umbria IGP - 2023

Colle Ozio is a white wine crafted from the Grechetto grape, renowned as a specialty of Umbria. This wine exhibits a distinctive personality, offering a rounded mouthfeel and heightened minerality. It serves as an excellent and straightforward representation of this intriguing variety, boasting citrus and tropical fruit flavors, along with a subtly herbal and delicate texture.

This unique 100% Grechetto, sourced from vines cultivated at 290 meters, undergoes a spontaneous 30-day fermentation and ages in stainless steel on fine lees for 6 months. It further matures for 3 to 5 months in cellars.

The result is Colle Ozio—a limited annual production ranging from 10,000 to 13,000 bottles, showcasing the true potential of the Grechetto grape in a wine of depth and complexity.
