Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC - 2020

The Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore, a remarkable wine made from 100% Barbera grapes by Tenuta Baràc in the charming Comune of Treiso. The vineyard is located at a height of 300 meters, facing west, and the soil is grey marl. The grapes are harvested at the end of September and undergo a careful one-year aging process in large French oak barrels. This results in a wine with a dark ruby-red color and violet hints. The aroma is intense, with black fruit flavors like plum and black cherry, along with subtle hints of vanilla and cloves. The taste is full-bodied, with light tannins, and the finish is long and refreshing. This Barbera d'Alba pairs well with meats and medium-aged cheeses, offering a delightful dining experience.
