Chakra Rosso Primitivo Gioia del Colle - 2021

Chakra Rosso is a delightful wine made from 100% Primitivo grapes in the sunny vineyards of Puglia, Italy. Unlike typical Primitivo wines from the region, Chakra Rosso has a unique twist with a refreshing acidity thanks to its higher altitude location.

What sets Chakra Rosso apart is the use of an innovative winemaking technique called "vendanges entières," borrowed from Burgundy. They carefully use whole Primitivo bunches in open vats, creating a wine with extended complexity and great balance.

After selecting the best grapes and gently pressing them, the juice stays with the skins for a few days, giving the wine a deep purple color. The fermentation happens in barrels, adding a mineral weight and richness. The wine rests on the lees until spring, enhancing its depth.

Chakra Rosso delights the senses with aromas of fresh plums, red and blackberries. It defies the usual jammy Primitivo taste, offering a balanced, acidic, and lasting experience. Before hitting the market, the wine refines for an extra 6 months in the bottle.
