Collio Bianco Stare Brajde Collio DOC - 2021

Collio Bianco Stare Brajde is a delightful white wine made from a blend of Tocai Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, and Ribolla Gialla grapes. The vineyards, located on hilly terrain with rich soil, produce 60 – 70 quintals per hectare.

The grapes are hand-harvested in September and undergo a careful winemaking process. After crushing and a 12-hour skin maceration, the must is pressed and cleaned. Alcoholic fermentation occurs for 8-10 days at a controlled temperature.

Following fermentation, the wine ages on fine lees 'sur lie' in steel vats with regular stirring until bottling. It then matures in the bottle for 12 months, resulting in an alcohol content of 13% to 13.5%.

Exhibits a straw-yellow color, turning golden with age. The bouquet is delicate, featuring fruity notes of almonds, bread crust, and butter that evolve into spiciness over time. The palate is elegantly structured, balancing softness and acidity.
