Rio del Tordo Emilia IGT - 2022

Riodeltordo wine gets its name from the stream that marks the boundaries of the vineyard where it is produced. The vineyard's proximity to the water greatly impacts the soil, which is rich in minerals due to alluvial deposits. Additionally, the vineyard enjoys a cool spot that only receives morning sunlight. These two factors work together to create a wine with a unique aroma, without being overly heavy or overly ripe. Riodeltordo wine is a blend of local white grape varieties, including Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortugo, Trebbiano, and a touch of Sauvignon blanc.
